Writing Term 1

I am learning to use a simple plan for my writing.

I can draw a picture about my story to help me when I am writing.

"I like writing about my family.  I love my family.  I can draw my mum and my dad and me." Holly

Reading Term 1

I am learning to make the first sound in new words.

  I can look at the first letter and make the sound.  I can look at the picture to help me too.

"I like reading with Mrs Koroa.  I like reading with mum." Holly

Maths Term 1

I am learning the numbers from 0 to 10.  It can be tricky sometimes because I keep forgetting the names of the numbers 4, 7 and 9.  My friends can help me.

"I like counting the beans at maths time.  I like maths." Holly

Term 1 Water Safety

We have been learning to be safe in the water.

"I am on the noodle.  I can float on my back.  I like swimming at school." Holly

Butterfly Art

We used Kid Pix to create our backgrounds.  

We used black marker pen and dye to colour in our butterflies.
